Onions are also said to be rich in Sulfur compounds which are good for the production of HDL in the body.

Onions effectively work against common cold and flu due to their anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. Maintaining an optimum amount of onion in our daily diet can improve our body’s immunity.

5. Good for Skin
