How To Grow Thick And Long Eyelashes Naturally?

Eyelashes are an imperative part of one’s beauty. When you look at a person’s eyes, the lashes are the first thing you notice. Many women dream of having long eyelashes, but not all of them are blessed with it.

But, if you don’t have thick lashes, you don’t have to burn a hole in your pocket by splurging on fake ones or using expensive mascara.

So, then what can be done to grow eyelashes like never before? Read ahead and check out these easy tips that teach you how to grow long eyelashes without any hassles.

1.  Remove Makeup

Which woman doesn’t love highlighting their eyes while wearing makeup? It is nice to ensure your makeup stays at the top of the game, but in this context do not allow it to ruin your lashes. If you enjoy wearing makeup, do not forget to take it off carefully before going to bed at night.

Makeup clogs the skin around our eyes, which is very sensitive. Since mascara is heavy for the lashes, it is recommended to remove it before sleeping. Also, an important trick to growing long eyelashes is to wipe off your eye makeup gently.

If you are rough with your eyes or try to rub them vigorously, they could become scanty and take a long time to grow back.

3.  Vitamin E

You may be familiar with the antioxidant properties of Vitamin E. It does not only help in skin care but also helps you to grow long eyelashes. Using a clean lash brush, apply it gently on the upper and lower lash line.

Leave it overnight and wash it off next morning with a cotton swab. It repairs the lashes and stimulates growth. However, if you have sensitive eyes, it is suggested to avoid this method.

4.  Vaseline

Vaseline works as a cure-all remedy. People use this semi-solid mixture of hydrocarbons for curing skin rashes. But, the fact that it is used to grow eyelashes should surprise you. Clean your eyelid area to ensure your lashes are dirt-free.

Use vaseline for thicker eyelashes

Take a clean mascara wand and dip the q-tip part of the wand into a bottle of petroleum jelly. Using the q-tip as a perfect applicator, run it along the lash line. Be careful to ensure it does not get into the eyes. You should start seeing improvement in 3-4 weeks.

5.  Avoid Fake Eyelashes

Since your eyelids are delicate, it is important to check its ingredients or adhesive before using it. Eyelash extensions and false lashes may seem to be the easiest technique of gaining fuller lashes. But, they can be injurious to your eye health. The risks associated with it include infection, allergic reaction, irritation or injuries to the eye area.

Fake lashes instantly attract dust and dirt. It causes severe inflammation. In rare cases, if it persists, you may have to get it checked by an eye specialist doctor.

Eye drops that are made of bimatoprost ophthalmic solution, is incidentally used for treating hypotrichosis (a condition where a person does not have adequate lashes.) The solution is made of compounds that are derived from fatty acids.

Although the precise and scientific way that Bimatoprost works is unclear, it is believed to affect the growth of hair follicles by boosting the percent of hair in the anagen phase of the hair cycle.

The drug stimulates pigment cells in the hair and skin follicles. It naturally grows long eyelashes that are darker and thicker. You can use a mascara applicator brush to apply the solution at the base of the upper eyelashes. Some may begin to see results within the first three weeks. After 16 weeks, full results are expected. It is recommended to track your progress and note the results.

When it comes to beauty, do not ignore tiny parts such as your lashes. Practice these beauty tips daily to get the best results.
