Search for Kayla Itsines BBG workout review and you’ll be flooded with mixed opinions. So what do the reviewers say? Does it live up to the hype?

The biggest criticism of Kayla Itsines’ Bikini Body Guide: how much it costs. Critics bemoan the hefty price tag.  The each ebook costs $53.48. That means $53.48 for BBG Workout 1.0, $53.48 for BBG Workout 2.0, and $53.48 for the nutritional guide.

She does offer a very discounted bundle – $91.69 for both the BBG Workout 1.0 and the nutritional guide.  It is a popular offer, but it is still a substantial amount of money.

The workouts also require additional (and unexpected) equipment purchases.  They require dumbbells, a medicine ball, a jump rope, and weight benches.  Even fans were taken aback by these surprise expense as Kayla proclaims nothing extra is needed.

However, most reviewers reasoned that if someone was able to spend $91.69 on the BBG Bundle, an extra $30-$50 for equipment would be a minor inconvenience.

In addition to the price tag, critics are disappointed by the material you receive for the price.  It is not revolutionary. It is simply a combination of diet and exercise. Critics expected something more original.

Similarly, another common complaint is that the program is one size fits all. The course is done via PDFs. There is no guidance other than a series of images.  This means there is no individualized attention or trainer present to correct your posture or moves. It is one size fits all, which dramatically increases the risk of injury.

So if you are a skeptical, thrifty spender who needs individual attention and more than a series of picture in an eBook, then I suggest you invest your money elsewhere.

However, I still suggest you keep reading – even if it is just to understand why the thousands of clients decided to buy into BBG program.

Everywhere you look there is an overwhelming outpouring of support by Kayla Itsines’ fans.

The sheer number of dedicated followers (over 5.5 million) makes a strong case for the success of the BBG workout.

So what do all these positive reviews state?

First, the BBG Workout combines nutrition and exercise into the program.  This combination has proved successful time and time again. It is nothing unique to Kayla Itsines’ Bikini Body Guide, but it is one of the elements of its success.

Second, it takes out all the guesswork.  It is a step by step plan that requires little thinking from the user.  It is made up of easy-to-follow, actionable steps.  This is perfect for those clients who want an exact path towards achieving their own bikini body.

It is hard to argue with her army of followers.
