In a post-pandemic world where some balance is slowly seeming to return, more and more of us are becoming conscious of our health. If you have had a particularly unhealthy couple of years, then let’s make 2022 your healthiest year yet! In this article, we’ve got some helpful tips to set you on the right path.
1. It’s time to start exercising regularly
If you are not getting at least 30-minutes of exercise every day, then you need to start. By remaining physically active and fit you can improve your cardiovascular and muscle health whilst also staving off disease. In addition to that, regular exercise is also linked to reducing stress and improving your mood. As such, you should aim for at least 150-minutes of moderate intensity exercise on a weekly basis.
Try to be consistent throughout the year. Make the time to exercise and push yourself through those days where you can’t particularly be bothered. It will get easier and when you start losing weight and toning up you will feel amazing.
2. Eat healthier
90% of weight loss starts in the kitchen. You need to make sure that you have as balanced a diet as possible. Too much sugary and fatty foods might seem like a good idea now but over time your body will start to punish you for it. That’s not to say that you cannot enjoy the occasional chocolate bar or takeaway – just make sure you are eating more, healthier foods than you are junk.
If you need some inspiration you should consider working with a personal trainer for a few months. This can help you get in the flow of regular exercise while also having expert help with writing a balanced food diary.
3. Sleep more
Particularly if you have children or an especially demanding career, getting enough sleep isn’t always a possibility. In any case you really need to ensure that you are getting at least 6 or 7-hours sleep a night. The dream is to aim for a minimum of 8-hours. Fortunately, if you follow steps one and two, you will notice that your sleep will come easier.
4. Masturbate and have sex more often
See, who said getting healthy had to be boring? As part of your new year plan to improve your health, you can never have too many orgasms! Either give your partner a kick up the butt and tell them that you need your medicine, or buy a dildo or vibrator and start taking care of yourself.
When you experience an orgasm your body releases massive amounts of oxytocin and dopamine which will make you feel amazing. There are a number of other health benefits as well – not to mention it being great for your skin and complexion.
5. Stick to your plan and do not waiver
Don’t let this be just one of those things that you abandon after a couple of months. Make your health plan and stick to it throughout the year.
You need to own up to and be honest with yourself about what needs to change. Encourage your friends and family to help you stick to it as well. Write down your goals and tick each one off for every milestone you pass. Create incentives for yourself and don’t forget to reward your hard work.
You’ve got this!
