If you are among the growing number of men that really want to look muscular and ripped when they take their shirts off then you are probably going to want to know how. But the reality is that even though there is a vast amount of information out there, people are often left confused not knowing what they need to do to get the body of their dreams.
Well I hope this article will shed some light on exactly what you need to do in order to get the body of your dreams in a healthy and safe way.
Now, it is really important that you understand and appreciate the fact that you should only put on muscle mass which has solid strength in it. Not only will this make you look a lot better because you will look incredibly lean, but you will be far stronger too.
The body builder look with all those over inflated muscles just doesn’t look great in everyday life. The people that are extremely thin and find it really hard to put on muscle need not worry because I will be covering everything that you need to know in this article.
So How Much Lean Muscle Mass Should You Build?
It is a scientific fact that the people who are leaner will generally live for much longer.
Another benefit of having lean muscle mass on your body is the fact that your chances of getting some kind of chronic disease will be dramatically decreased.
To start with you need to understand and appreciate that there are three different hormones which are responsible for helping you grow muscle and they are, Testosterone, Growth Hormone and Insulin Like Growth Factor 1.
To get a deeper understanding of how each of these three hormones affects muscle growth read the following few paragraphs:
#1. Testosterone
Now it is a well known fact that some of the most popular body builders in the world inject themselves with steroids to enhance muscle growth. Well, the reason they do this is because the main ingredient of all these steroids is testosterone.
Of course as with most hormones out there, testosterone has many roles to fill within the human body, one of them being that it aids in helping your muscles grow.
At the basic level testosterone basically helps with the process of protein creation within your muscles. It also works in conjunction with growth hormone to develop your muscles further.
Testosterone is essential if you want to build lean muscle mass and you need as much of it as you can get. However you need not get worried, because we won’t be injecting ourselves with steroids to get solid results.
#2. Growth Hormone
Yes, growth hormone’s main job is to help your muscle grow but another job it has, is to help your body burn as much excess body fat as it possibly can.
This is extremely important because you can have all the muscle in the world but if it is covered by layers of body fat then you will just end up looking big and fat.
#3. Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 (IGF1)
Without going into too much detail you can say that IGF1 has a lot of the same roles that growth hormone does in the human body. In fact most of the work that growth hormone gets the credit for is often work that is carried out by IGF1.
The most important thing that you need to understand is that all of these hormones are anabolic, and in order to really build out the lean muscle mass you are going to have to maximize all three of these hormones within your body.
In simple terms it works like this. Testosterone will cause more IGF1 to be made but of course this process will never happen unless there is ample amount of growth hormone present.
Understanding your body is key to having a leaner and sexier body
Start To Lift Weights Down At The Gym
Now, you can have massive amounts of all three of these hormones mentioned above but it will be for no good unless you are down at the gym working out with really heavy weights, day in and day out.
For the best results, I’d recommend that each and every one of you only do full body exercises such as deadlifts, jerks, pull ups, bench presses and rows.
You will be amazed at how effective these whole body exercises will be in shocking up your central nervous system. It is the shocking of the central nervous system which will result in a lot of anabolic hormones being produced within your body, which of course will result in you building up massive amounts of muscle.
This doesn’t mean that you should get out there and start lifting so heavy that your form begins to faultier. To really get the best results you need to balance the weight to make sure that you always have perfect form. Form is the key to getting the results that truly matter in the long run.
Personally I’d recommend that you train a single body part a week to get the best results.
Eat More and More Vegetables and Lean Meats
Believe me if you think you’re eating a lot already then trust me you need to start eating far more.
You need to really do your best to eat clean from now on. No more junk foods because the food you give your body will determine the results that you get in the long term. Food is everything and this is something that you need to keep in mind. Protein rich foods like protein bars are something that you must focus on, as it is the key to muscle growth.
Here Are Some Tips When It Comes To Food:
1. You need to do your best to consume at least 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight. Trust me after you have an extremely tough workout you are going to need to give your body all the protein that it can get.
2. You should start to eat a lot more foods that contain saturated and monounsaturated fats. These two types of fat are really good for you and will help to reduce the amount of insulin that your body produces. It will also help your body to create a lot more testosterone.
3. You should attempt to eat consistently throughout the day so you can pack in as much food as you possibly can.
4. The most important aspect of growing muscle mass will be the foods that you consume, so it needs to become your number one priority. You need to start eating as clean as possible and focus on things like fresh vegetables and organic meat. Keep this up and you will put on a lot of muscle in no time at all.
On the occasional basis when you have worked out particularly hard you should opt for eating a good source of carbs such as a sweet potato.
The people that can’t put on muscle should attempt to get in as much calories as possible as this is the key to building your muscle mass up.
Now you have all the information you need to pack on as much lean muscle mass as possible, just get out there and work as hard as possible.
